OPTION B        Management to address impacts of current use levels (using 2019 numbers). No significant parking configuration or access changes. Directing some users to nearby parking areas and developing a turn around at the gravel on Powerhouse.

Option B includes some improvements to mitigate for some impacts of current use level. The parking lot at Powerdam remains the current size but is paved and striped.  A secondary parking area is formalized at Potato Salad Hill and is delineated (but not paved) to reduce conflict with the 4WD feature.  A trail is designated and maintained from the Powerdam parking lot to the falls in the North Fork, with increasing directional/wayfinding signage along this trail as well as added  safety information as requested by SAR.  A pedestrian and bicycle trail, currently proposed by the Rotary Club, connects the town to Powerdam and then on to Sand Flats by way of a footbridge over the creek near the dam. No significant changes at other parts of the canyon beyond monitoring for increased impacts.

Information may be provided at Powerdam and other locations to direct visitors to areas along Mill Creek in town that already have amenities including toilets and pathways such as Rotary Park.  The City-owned parcel at the end of the Powerhouse Lane pavement is developed into a park as a place to provide additional information and a more accessible turnaround area.

No significant changes occur in other parts of the canyon beyond monitoring for increased impacts.
